Description
CeraVe Blemish Control Gel is the leave-on treatment step that goes further than a cleanser. While a cleanser rinses away, this lightweight gel stays on the skin, working over time to target the look of blemishes and help refine a clearer, smoother-looking complexion. It is formulated with salicylic acid to help keep pores clear of the excess oil and buildup linked to breakouts, alongside niacinamide to help calm the look of the skin. As you would expect from CeraVe, it also includes three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, so blemish-prone skin gets targeted care without the tight, over-dry feeling many spot treatments leave behind. This 40ml tube lasts well as a daily leave-on step. How to use: after cleansing, apply an even layer to affected areas of clean, dry skin, then follow with a moisturiser. Introduce gradually if you are new to salicylic acid, use morning and/or evening, and always wear a facial sunscreen during the day. Who it is for: teens and adults with blemish-prone, oily or combination skin who want a leave-on gel beyond their cleanser, and anyone who finds spot treatments too drying. Fragrance-free and developed with dermatologists. FAQ. Cleanser or gel - which comes first? Cleanse first, then apply the leave-on gel to clean, dry skin. What does it target? The look of blemishes and clogged-looking pores, using salicylic acid. Is it drying? Ceramides and hyaluronic acid help keep skin comfortable. When do I use it? Morning and/or evening, with sunscreen during the day.
